Is alcoholism curable? It is often a big question of conversation even among literate population of America. Most people still doubt the success rate of alcoholism treatment.

In medical terms, alcoholism or uncontrolled cravings for alcohol, is a disease with symptoms of excessive urge to drink, loss of self-control and intestinal disorders. There are other withdrawal symptoms that show when one does not comply with his addiction urges; these are nausea, sweating, shakiness and anxiety.
